Selected, peer-reviewed papers from the 2012 Second Language
Research Forum conference will be published by the Cascadilla
Proceedings Project. The published proceedings will be available in
both a library binding hard-copy and online at
We invite all authors to submit their manuscripts to be considered
for inclusion in the published proceedings of SLRF 2012.
Submissions may be from any portion of the conference,
including plenary presentations, colloquium presentations,
individual paper presentations, and poster presentations. All
manuscript submissions must be original, unpublished work. Papers
submitted for consideration in the SLRF published proceedings should
not be concurrently submitted for publication elsewhere.
All manuscripts must be submitted (in PDF form) to email@example.com
by January 15, 2013, in order to be considered

• Follow the guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American
Psychological Association (APA), 6th edition, unless explicitly
stated otherwise in the formatting instructions provided by
• Maximum manuscript length (all-inclusive) is 10,000 words.
Please note that this includes all references, footnotes, tables,
figures, and appendices.
• Any copyrighted materials must be accompanied by a completed
statement of permission that also includes their source.
Tentative Timeline (subject to change):
January 15, 2013: Call for submissions closes
March 15 2013: Notification of acceptance
May 1 2013: Submission of revised manuscripts
June 1 2013: Editors ask authors for any needed formatting changes
July 1 2013: Authors send in signed printouts
